Whether you’re an emerging composer building your portfolio or an established artist seeking community and continued visibility, the New York Composers Circle offers a welcoming and professional environment to grow, experiment, and be heard.

Who Should Apply

Membership is intended for composers who have demonstrated a clear commitment to their craft and are actively engaged in composing.

Applicants should be able to show evidence of their work, such as:

• Completed compositions (scores and/or recordings)
• Performances, readings, or collaborations
• Ongoing creative activity and artistic development

While we welcome composers at many stages of their careers, membership is not designed for absolute beginners. Our goal is to ensure that all members are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the artistic community and take full advantage of the opportunities the organization provides.

Membership Dues

We believe membership should be accessible while supporting the organization’s activities.
