With nearly every live concert opportunity canceled and musicians withdrawn to their living rooms, the business of music-making has suffered greatly. Yet in the face of such difficulties, we must persist. Composers are still writing new music and musicians are still practicing. The loss of in-person rehearsals and live events has cost the world of art music dearly. Our composers and musicians and have been forced to adapt in the era of COVID just like everybody else, but not without a huge impact upon their livelihood and artistic exposure. That's why, now more than ever, it is important for people like you to help support artists who have been put out of work due to the COVID pandemic.

Through new collaborative efforts, New York Composers Circle has established opportunities for our composers beyond our own borders, including in Europe, Russia, and Asia, and for other composers from around the world to interact with New York audiences. Our composers are now concentrating their efforts on creating brand new music for solo performers and smaller ensembles to fit the current limitations, and we are setting up multi-camera, internet-broadcast concerts to bring our audiences an engaging new music experience. However, it takes money to make all of these things happen and keep our cause going.
