Tuesday, September 1, 2015 1:05 PM

On October 23 at 8:30 PM (yes, 8:30) the New York Composers Circle will be celebrating John Eaton's 80th birthday by presenting a concert at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Peter Norton Symphony Space (95th & Broadway). On the concert will be:

Death(1946), for soprano and piano
Lycidas(2014), for soprano and piano, excerpts
Mass II(1997), for high soprano soloist, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass, clarinet, piano, and two percussionists
El Divino Narciso(1998), for flute, cello, two percussionists, mezzo soprano, coloratura soprano, and lyric tenor

John generosity of spirit toward composers of all generations has been exemplary and he has been humble despite his many accomplishments. He has been an extremely helpful member of the NYCC and other communities for many years and we are very pleased to be participating in this exciting event.

We really need your help and hope you can contribute! Learn more about the concert and how you can help financially by clicking here:
